Premium Soil Mix

Each tree has been repotted into a high-quality, free-draining blend of:

Akadama • Pumice • Lava Rock

This provides excellent drainage and aeration while encouraging a strong, healthy root system.

Short Care Tips

Position: Best grown outdoors in a bright position with sun or partial shade. 

Watering: Water thoroughly when the surface of the soil begins to dry. Do not allow the root ball to completely dry out.

Feeding: Feed regularly during the growing season with a balanced bonsai fertiliser.

Pruning: Trim new shoots back regularly during the growing season to maintain the shape and encourage fine branching.

Winter: Chinese Elm is deciduous/semi-deciduous depending on conditions and may lose some or all of its leaves during winter. Protect the pot and roots from prolonged severe frost.
